Traditional Cappuccino Happy Hour, Every Friday 2:30-5:30pm
If you’ve never tried a traditional espresso drink – a doppio, macchiato or cappuccino – make sure to join us on Friday afternoons when we offer them for 50% off! It’s a great way to cap the week and roll into your Friday evening.

Mon. 4/11-4/15, Thumpku Contest Returns in Honor of April Poetry Month
Write a haiku poem that relates to life at thump and win a $10.00 thump card!

THE DETAILS: Haiku poems are 3 lines. First line has 5 syllables, second line has 7 syllables, third line has 5 syllables.

During the contest week of  Mon. 4/11- Fri. 4/15, either post your Thumpku on thump’s Facebook page (www.facebook.com/thumpcoffee) or come into the shop and write it on the provided sheet and clip it next to the blue “Thump” sign at the front of the shop. On Monday 4/18,  three $10.00 thump card winners will be selected and posted on thump’s Facebook page as well as at the shop. Come join in the fun! Everyone is welcome to participate.

Sun. 4/17, 1:30-2:30pm – Public Coffee Tasting
This sure to be a fun and informal exploration of coffees from around the world. Using the tasting and evaluation techniques of professional coffee cuppers, learn how to slurp up a variety of delicious coffees.  Bring a friend and join us!

Sat. 4/23, 11:00am, Procession of The Species Parade & Earth Day Street Fair
In honor of Mother Earth, channel your inner flower power, don a costume of your favorite creature that walks this planet, and join in the Procession of the Species Parade in downtown Bend! Thump will be open for our regular Sunday business hours: 7:00am-4:30pm. Maybe we’ll hide some chocolate eggs!

“Wishes” Revisited
The wooden planks swaying from thump’s ceiling capturing brief wishes from passers by, are as much of what makes thump, thump as any delicious drink we serve. Have you ever wondered what happens to those wishes or how many have been created? Well, local artist and “Wishes” installation creator Mark Bernahl rotates the wishes every couple of months, adding new ones, removing old ones. He has kept every single wish that has been rotated out since the “Wishes” inception more than four years ago! And, he has scanned them! You can view more than 5,000 of them here. If you wrote a wish sometime in the last four years, go to our Flickr site and see if you can find it! Over 5,000 and counting are on the site! And . . . let us know if your wish came true!
