In honor of the National Beard and Mustache Competition hosted here in Bend, thump hosted its own “Mixed Media Beard and Mustache Competition”. We had over 30 participants who AMAZED and entertained us with their clever,creative interpretations of exceptional facial hair.  There were 2 age groups; 0-17yrs or 18+yrs. and 3 categories: beard/mustache/freestyle. Winners from each age group and category won $25 in free drinks at thump.

A huge, “Thank You!”, goes out to all of you who got in the spirit of our competition and submitted an entry and to everyone who took a moment to appreciate what people had submitted. The judging panel (members of the Central Oregon Mustache and Beard Society and a middle school art teacher) had a wonderful time appreciating all of the entries and they had a challenging time selecting only 6 winners!

All entries will be on display at thump through this Sunday, June 6th, so come check them out!
